  • The update helps business owners better manage communications

GoDaddy, the best value website builder we’ve tested in 2024, has rolled out a new update to its GoDaddy Conversations feature.

Recently, GoDaddy became the first US builder to integrate with Google’s Business Messages. Now, users can connect Gmail and Microsoft 365 to their GoDaddy Conversations dashboard.

Combining inboxes with GoDaddy Conversations helps business owners better manage communications, whether responding to a negative review or nurturing customer relationships. With the addition of Gmail and Microsoft 365, business owners have more opportunities to interact with their audience.

It’s a useful tool to track messages and keep everything organized in a centralized hub – there’s no need to jump between accounts or platforms to respond to customers.

You can access the feature through the standalone GoDaddy Conversations app or if you’re subscribed to one of GoDaddy’s Websites + Marketing plans. The free plan lets you explore the tool but you’ll need one of GoDaddy’s premium pricing plans (starting from $10.99 per month) to respond to messages.

A Unified Inbox

GoDaddy Conversations provides users with the ability to view and respond to messages and queries from a variety of channels, including:

  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • Gmail
  • Microsoft 365
  • GoDaddy contact forms
  • GoDaddy Chat

To connect your Gmail and Microsoft 365 accounts, find the GoDaddy Conversations dashboard within your Websites + Marketing dashboard. From there, you’ll want to select “Channels and Settings” before clicking “Email” – this is where you can connect an email address. Admittedly, it’s not a quick two-step process unlike GoDaddy’s speedy website builder, but you can follow GoDaddy’s guides to connect your Gmail or Microsoft 365 addresses.

Why It’s Important to Respond to Customers

Managing customer relationships is a key part of any successful business strategy. Delivering quality online customer service is made easier thanks to GoDaddy Conversations, which collects messages from your website, social media, and email.

It’s important to connect with your customers in the channels they most engage with, such as social media, but that doesn’t mean you have to jump between platforms and accounts to keep track of every conversation.

How you respond can boost brand trust and customer loyalty, and even encourage more customers to engage with your business and buy your products.

After all, if you reach out to a business with a query about a product but get no response, it’s unlikely you’ll purchase the item! As a business owner using GoDaddy Conversations, you should have little difficulty when it comes to responding to queries, reviews, or feedback from customers.
