  • Webflow has partnered with the customer support company Text to bring their communication app LiveChat to the platform.
  • LiveChat is used by over 37,000 companies around the world, and offers new ways to communicate with customers and engage clients.

Webflow has announced a collaboration with the customer communication app LiveChat, with each integration now available to users of both platforms. The partnership will allegedly help users “monetize their online business more effectively and improve customer satisfaction”.

Used by over 37,000 companies in over 150 countries, LiveChat is an online customer service app that businesses can use to talk directly to customers and clients. It features a customizable chat with real-time data, interactive greetings, message templates, and chatbots. According to the parent company of LiveChat, Text, it also has over 200 integrations with apps such as FaceBook Messenger and WhatsApp, allowing you to be where the customers are while also streamlining the reply process. Text also owns and operates other popular customer service widgets like ChatBot and HelpDesk.

The integration with Webflow and LiveChat can be found in both the Webflow Marketplace and Text Marketplace. As Dan Brown, Senior Director of Corporate Development at Webflow said of the partnership, “We’re thrilled to welcome the LiveChat App to the Webflow Marketplace. We know that businesses are under increased pressure to offer real-time support and engagement, and believe this seamless integration between Webflow and LiveChat will help more businesses meet their customers where they are.

As a platform, Webflow offers no-code visual web development to approximately 3.5 million users. From our own experience, the Webflow editor is many times more in-depth than competitors like GoDaddy and Squarespace and seems to be made with actual web designers in mind. This can often lead to newcomers getting scared off by the complexity.

With this new integration, it seems Webflow, and vice-versa LiveChat, are making a conscious decision to try and bring more online businesses to their respective platforms. We will have to keep an eye out to see if this prediction bears fruit.

All of this is to say that when I want to get you online - I mean it! Outside the office, I have attended the eCommerce Expo and built up a ton of industry knowledge through talks, workshops, and guided learning sessions with noted experts.
