Shopify is a trusted ecommerce website builder for millions of merchants and enterprise businesses, such as Mattel and Gymshark. In fact, some 10% of all US ecommerce flowed through Shopify stores in 2023. It’s also a fan favorite with celebrity entrepreneurs, including influencers, athletes, and music stars.

The YouTube sensation MrBeast, also known as Jimmy Donaldson, has launched multiple websites through Shopify: ShopMrBeast, Feastables, and MrBeast Burger. If you’re one of the 250+ million YouTube subscribers, you’ll likely have seen a Shopify ad or partnership in one of Donaldson’s videos. And, the partnership regularly makes use of its joint audience to promote small businesses.

2. Beyoncé: Cécred

Beyoncé joined the ranks of celebrities using Shopify in early 2024, launching the haircare brand, Cécred. The American singer-songwriter smartly dropped the news alongside two new singles, building buzz for the beauty business ahead of her upcoming album release.

3. Taylor Swift

Mega popstar Taylor Swift uses Shopify to power her store, promoting new music and events, and selling merchandise via the Shopify platform. But the influence of Taylor Swift on the world of ecommerce doesn’t stop there – multiple Shopify stores have experienced what is being coined as the Taylor Swift Effect, seeing huge boosts in sales and visibility after Taylor Swift wears a product. For example, Blogilates saw a 600-700% increase in sales from Swifties after Taylor was seen wearing its popular pirouette skort.

4. Kylie Jenner: Kylie Cosmetics

Kylie Jenner, founder of the multi-million dollar beauty brand Kylie Cosmetics, uses Shopify Plus to power the business. Jenner, who first found fame on the reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians, sold half of the enterprise-level brand to Coty in 2020 and is reportedly looking to buy back ownership. Since its launch, the brand has evolved to add new lines such as Kylie Fragrance, Kylie Skin, and Kylie Baby.

5. Jennifer Aniston: LolaVie

Known for her iconic hair (we all know and love “the Rachel” cut) A-list actress and producer Jennifer Aniston launched her cruelty-free haircare brand, LolaVie, using Shopify. The hair products, such as shampoo and hair oil, are made with plant-based ingredients and the product packaging is stripped-back and minimalist to mirror Aniston’s general brand.

6. Kim Kardashian: SKIMS

First launched in 2019, Kim Kardashian’s underwear, shapewear, and loungewear company has grown to be one of the biggest brands in the industry. Since then, the SKIMS brand has skyrocketed – the business provided the official underwear for Team USA at the 2020 Olympics, collaborated with luxury brand Fendi, and was recently announced as the official underwear of the NBA, WNBA, and USA Basketball in a three-year partnership.

7. Drake: Drake Related

The site brings together all of Drake’s projects, including music, fragrances, tour dates, and clothing lines. Scarlett Johansson is the Co-Founder and Chair of The Outset, a skincare brand focusing on gentle and simple skincare products. Powered by Shopify, the website delivers a clean design to complement the sustainable brand.

9. Nicki Minaj: Pink Friday Nails

Nicki Minaj introduced her business, Pink Friday Nails, to the world in March 2024 – the name is a nod to Minaj’s popular album, “Pink Friday.” The Shopify store sells customizable press-on nail products, reflecting Minaj’s style and brand, and the affordable kits sold out quickly at launch.

The actor, wrestler and entrepreneur is a huge advocate for men’s wellness, and his brand aims to deliver clean and premium products at affordable prices.

12. Hailey Bieber: Rhode
